Read: 1 Corinthians 11:1
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
Reflect:
“There are rare Christians whose very presence incites others to be better Christians. I want to be that rare Christian.” AW Tozer
Maybe that’s not the best example, but when Paul encourages the readers of his letters to imitate him as he imitates Christ this is exactly his point. In his letter to the Philippians, he expands on this thought: “What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4: 9).
Respond:
This is our challenge, today and every day. Are we inviting others to follow Christ? Are we striving to be that rare type of person?
