Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.

Jeremiah 32:17

Over the last few days, we spent time with all of our kids and grandsons in the Phoenix area. It was a great weekend together and we all parted ways late last night. This morning at church in Phoenix with our son-in-law, the worship leaders sang these lyrics from “Same God”-

O God my God I need You
O God my God I need You now
How I need You now
O Rock O Rock of ages
I’m standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness

Those lyrics reminded me of how many of us have needs that only God can meet. The lyrics continued –

You heard Your children then
You hear Your children now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You answered prayers back then
And You will answer now
You are the same God
You are the same God

So, let us lean on this verse and remind ourselves that nothing is too hard for the LORD.
