At the moment I have all I need—and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Today I took lunch to a physician’s office in Maysville, Kentucky. The note you see above was posted on the door of the lunch room. I’m not sure who wrote the words but look at that list – food, shelter, job, great co-workers, freedom, family, faith…
Those words could have been written by Paul in the verses above as he gave thanks for the gifts he received.
Tomorrow most of us will sit around a table and hopefully we will give thought to the great blessings in our lives. If you think you have little to be thankful for this year, take another look at the list above.
