This afternoon I was on a video call with several colleagues discussing a new spreadsheet project our team will implement this year. As one of my teammates attempted to teach others how to build a particular section, it was clear that the teacher was having a little difficulty communicating because of a lack of expertise. Have you ever experienced a similar situation?
In order to teach others, we must be good students ourselves, right? As Tozer said in the quote above, “only a disciple can make a disciple.”
So when we think of our ultimate goal as described by Christ, in order to fulfill the Great Commission we should be good disciples –
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…
