How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Romans 10:13-15

Earlier this week an inspirational speaker at my meeting put the question, “What more can you do?” on the screen as a challenge to those of us in the audience. He wasn’t necessarily attempting to spur us on in our careers. He was speaking of something deeper and more meaningful.

I can’t think of anything more meaningful than what is found in the passage above. As followers of Christ we are invited to answer the call to share the Gospel with others.

• How can they call on the Lord if they don’t believe?
• How can they believe if they haven’t heard?
• How can they hear unless someone speaks the Gospel to them?
• How can they preach unless they are sent?

I’ve heard these words used by missionaries to support their call, but this call is available and encouraged for each of us. So consider this question – What more can you do today that will make tomorrow a blessing for someone else?
